Funding boost of Scoil Bhride, Killeshandra
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Cavan/Monaghan T.D., Mr. Brendan Smith has announced that his Government colleague the Minister for Education and Science, Mr Batt O’Keeffe T.D. has now approved grant aid for improvement works at Scoil Bhride, Killeshandra.

Minister Smith stated that the funding will enable Scoil Bhride to undertake much needed improvement work on the roof of the school.
Congratulating the Principal, Chairman and Board of Management, on submitting a successful funding application, Minister Smith also wished the pupils, teachers and parents of the school well, stating that the improvements will enhance the school facilities.
Councillor Seán Smith, who also made representations in support of the applications, welcomed this approval by Minister O’Keeffe.
