Brendan Smith congratulates Scoil Mhuire, Swanlinbar


 

Brendan Smith T.D., has congratulated the Board of Management, the Principal and all the staff on the Official Opening of new and upgraded facilities at Scoil Mhuire, Swanlinbar.

The Cavan/Monaghan T.D. stated that over the last 3 years he was very glad to support the school in it’s applications for funding from the Department which has now resulted in a new state of the art classroom, the provision of a learning support room, a resource room, the installation of new windows and doors and ICT equipment in each classroom.

Brendan Smith complimented Fr. Hannon, Chairman and all the Board of Management, the Principal Ciara Murphy and all her staff colleagues, the Parents’ Association, the Architect and Contractor and all involved in providing new facilities.

“Today has been a very special and significant day for the school community in Swanlinbar.  The building project enhances considerably  Scoil Mhuire and the new facilities will be of great benefit to the children and all the staff,” concluded Deputy Smith.
