Monaghan Education Campus
Brendan Smith, Fianna Fáil’s Spokesperson on Education and Skills has welcomed the signing of the contract for the construction of the new Monaghan Education Campus.
Deputy Smith stated that these new facilities will be of tremendous benefit in delivering educational services in Monaghan and the project had progressed very rapidly. He added that following the closure of the Monaghan Army Barracks his colleague Margaret Conlon had highlighted the potential of developing such a campus and the Fianna Fáil Party in Government ensured that the project progressed rapidly and financial provision was made by the previous Government to enable this project to proceed to construction this year.
Deputy Smith complimented the CEO of Co. Monaghan V.E.C. and the Committee and other local statutory agencies for their work in bringing the project to this stage.
