BALLINAGH HEALTH CENTRE – GP SERVICES RESUME- SMITH
Deputy Smith was informed by the HSE that a GP Service will be provided Every Monday and Wednesday from 2.30 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.
The Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil TD has asked the HSE to ensure that the maximum level of services, both G.P. and Nursing, are restored at Ballinagh Health Centre at the earliest possible date.
“This is a very important issue for the local community and the wider Ballinagh catchment area and I have consistently raised this issue through Parliamentary Question and Adjournment Debate in Dáil Éireann and through representations to the HSE.
I compliment Bridget Delaney and the other members of the local community who have worked hard to have services restored.
I was very glad to be able to assist in the provision of the new state of the art Health Centre in Ballinagh in recent years and that facility was provided at a cost of €1.3 million. I believe that it is essential that maximum use is made of this Health Centre to provide the best possible level of Health Services for the local community” stated Brendan Smith.
