In addition funding has been approved for ground cover works at Ballyconnell Central National School.

“This news will be warmly greeted by the many parents teachers and pupils in these schools. It will allow for significant improvements in the physical environment in each school. It is another example of the massive level of investment in school buildings in County Cavan in recent years, which despite pressures on the public finances, continues to be targeted at making our schools the most modern they can be. I would like to congratulate, the Boards of Management, teachers, parents and pupils at Knocktemple, Laragh and Ballyconnell Central School and wish them well in the future”, Minister Smith said.
