Smith launches new website for Co. Cavan VEC Adult Education Services
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Minister Brendan Smith has launched a new website on behalf of Co. Cavan VEC Adult Education Services.
The new website is a major development in the way the VEC will be able to communicate with adult learners and youth groups throughout the County. Developed on behalf of the VEC by web designer Tomas Brides, the new website will provide adult learners, youth groups and those looking to return to education in Cavan with a one-stop-source of information, advice, updates and contacts.
As well as containing a whole host of information on the services of the VEC which will be constantly updated, one of the most significant aspects of the new website is an online enrolment and payment section where learners will be able to register their interest in a class and can immediately register online.
“County Cavan VEC is an extremely far sighted and innovative organisation which is always striving to improve its services. The development of this website will allow the VEC to impart information and improve communication with learners and prospective learners using state of the art technology. I would like to compliment web designer Tomas Brides for his excellent skill in developing the website, and of course Adult Education Officer, Fiona Maloney and CEO, Colm McEvoy for their continuing commitment to delivering improvements to the services offered by Co. Cavan VEC”, Minister Smith said.
