St.Patrick’s NS Kilnaleck approved for new classrooms - SMITH
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Cavan/Monaghan, T.D., Mr. Brendan Smith has confirmed that approval has been granted for the provision of two new mainstream classrooms for St. Patrick’s NS, Kilnaleck.
The Minister was informed by his colleague, An Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Ms. Mary Coughlan, T.D., that approval has now been given for this additional accommodation for the school.
Minister Smith said that this is very welcome news for St. Patrick’s NS which will now be able to provide a more comfortable environment for the pupils and school staff. “I am very pleased, that even in these times of great economic difficulty; significant investment continues to be made in modernising and upgrading school buildings right across County Cavan. I was very glad to work with the Principal, Board of Management and Parents’ Association in having substantial improvements and upgrading works carried out at St. Patrick’s NS over recent years”, the Minister said.
