Funding for Cavan Groups under the Scheme of Community Support
Mr. Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has welcomed the announcement by his Government colleague Mr. Pat Carey, T.D., Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs that he has approved funding of €5,703 to Killeshandra Community Council and €820 to Bailieborough St. Vincent de Paul Society under the Scheme of Community Support for Older People Grants Scheme.
The Scheme provides grant support towards the cost of supplying and installing items of safety and security equipment, including personal monitored alert systems.
Minister Smith wished both Groups continued success with the excellent work they provide in their local communities.
