St. Felim’s National School funding boost-SMITH
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Cavan/Monaghan T.D., Mr. Brendan Smith has announced that funding has been approved for works at St. Felim’s NS, Leitir, Bailieborough.
An Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Ms. Mary Coughlan, T.D., informed Minister Smith that she has approved the funding that will allow for the upgrading to waste water treatment and percolation at the school.
“Essential upgrading work can now be carried out at St. Felim’s which will greatly improve the physical environment of the school. This follows on from a major building project already undertaken at the school.
This latest announcement represents further evidence of the most extensive investment programme in schools in County Cavan which is evident right across the county.
I would like to congratulate the Principal, Mr. Paul Corcoran on the successful application, the Chairman of the Board of Management and other board members, as well as the Parent’s Association for their ongoing commitment to St. Felim’s”, Minister Smith said.
