€45,000 counselling service grants for Cavan-Smith
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Cavan/Monaghan, T.D. Mr. Brendan Smith has welcomed a grant package totalling €45,000 for five groups in County Cavan offering marriage, child and bereavement counselling services and supports
Cavan Family Resource Centre; Rainbows Cavan (St. Patrick’s College); Rainbows St. Felim’s Cavan; Tullacmongan Resource Centre and Kingscourt Bereavement Support Group will benefit from grant support which has been approved by Mr. Eamon O’Cuiv, T.D., Minister for Social and Family Affairs.
Minister Smith said that all of the groups involved were doing excellent work in supporting vulnerable groups and individuals in their local communities and that the funding would allow them to carry on and further develop this work.
