€132,000 Top - Up for Sports Facilities
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon Ó Cúiv, T.D., that he has now approved grant assistance amounting to € 132,000 for a number of Sports Clubs under the CLÁR Programme.
The Minister in his reply to representations by Deputy Brendan Smith stated that a top-up grant has been approved to the following Clubs who were awarded grants under the 2006 Sports Capital Programme.

Deputy Smith stated that this additional funding now brings the total grant for sports facilities in Co. Cavan for 2006 to € 1,447,000.
