Funding for Lough Gowna Housing - Smith
Mr. Brendan Smith, T.D has announced that a supplementary grant of €195, 829 has now been approved in respect of the housing project being provided by Lough Gowna Housing Association bringing the total funding for this housing development to €1.314 million
Minister Smith welcomed this decision by his colleague, Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal, Mr. Noel Ahern, T.D and he added that this grant is supplementary to a grant of €1,118,400 which was previously approved in respect of this project. He added that the funding will enable the provision of eight units of accommodation and the funding is being provided under the Department of the Environment’s Capital Assistance for Voluntary Housing Projects.
Minister Smith complimented the Lough Gowna Housing Association on their initiative and their work in promoting this valuable project.
