Kildallon National School gets big boost-Smith
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mr. Brendan Smith, T.D. has confirmed that approval has been given for two new mainstream classrooms at Kildallon National School.
The Minister was informed by his colleague, the Minister for Education and Science, Mr. Batt O’Keeffe, T.D., that approval has been given to proceed with the new classrooms.
Describing the news as a “great boost” to the local community and all associated with the school, Minister Smith noted that Kildallon National School has also benefited from significant investment last year in respect of essential upgrading and improvements.
Local Fianna Fáil member of Cavan County Council, Mr. Seán Smith also welcomed the announcement for Kildallon NS and said that the investment by the Government was another reflection of the great work being undertaken in investing in schools in County Cavan.
