Further Improvement works for National Schools in County Cavan
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has announced that the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon O’Cuiv, T.D., has now approved grant assistance in respect of the provision of Outdoor Play Facilities at Tunnyduff, Kill, Butlersbridge, Swanlinbar and Mullahoran National Schools.
Minister Smith stated that this funding is being provided under the Clár Programme to enable Primary Schools to upgrade or provide new outdoor play facilities. He added that grant assistance of € 5,062.50 had been approved for Kill, € 7,500 for Butlersbridge, € 7,500 for Swanlinbar and € 7,500 for Tunnyduff and € 7,500 for Mullahoran.
Minister Smith added that this investment under the Clár Programme will considerably enhance play facilities at these schools which submitted successful applications.
