Further Funding for Voluntary Organisations
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has welcomed the approval of funding for Kilnaleck Social Services Association and South West Cavan Community Development Project Ltd., Kilnaleck.
Minister Smith stated that funding of € 16,876 has been approved for Kilnaleck Social Services Association towards the provision of support services for older people in their homes and € 11,476 has been approved for South West Cavan Community Development Project Ltd., Kilnaleck for the purchase of equipment.
Minister Smith stated that this funding has been approved by his Government colleagues, Mr Noel Ahern, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and Mr Sean Power, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children and this grant assistance is being provided under the Dormant Accounts.
Minister Smith congratulated both projects on their successful applications.
