More Funding for Schools - CLAR
Mr Brendan Smith TD has announced that the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Eamon O’ Cuív, TD has approved funding for a further five Primary Schools in Co Cavan under his Department’s Primary School Outdoor Play Facilities Enhancement Scheme 2006.
Mr Brendan Smith TD has announced that the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Eamon O’ Cuív, TD has approved funding for a further five Primary Schools in Co Cavan under his Department’s Primary School Outdoor Play Facilities Enhancement Scheme 2006.
Minister Smith stated that funding has been approved in respect of the following -
- Darley National School, Cootehill,
- Ballinamoney National School, Bailieborough
- Knocktemple National School, Munterconnaught
- East Knockbride National School
- The Holy Family School, Cootehill
Funding totalling €39,138.75 has been approved in respect of these projects.
Minister Smith stated that this Scheme is jointly funded between the Department of Education and Science and the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and it is aimed at improving outdoor play facilities in small rural Primary Schools in Clár areas.
