Funding under Urban and Village Renewal Programme
Minister of State Brendan Smith, T.D., has welcomed the decision by the Minister for the Environment and Local Government, Mr Dick Roche, T.D., to allocate funding of € 1,413,722 to Cavan County Council of which €414,400 can be drawn down in 2005. These allocations are being made under the Urban and Village Renewal Programme 2000 – 2006.
Minister of State Brendan Smith, T.D., has welcomed the decision by the Minister for the Environment and Local Government, Mr Dick Roche, T.D., to allocate funding of € 1,413,722 to Cavan County Council of which €414,400 can be drawn down in 2005. These allocations are being made under the Urban and Village Renewal Programme 2000 – 2006.
Funding of € 1,363,803 has also been allocated to Monaghan County Council of which € 410,450 can be drawn down in 2005.
This Programme forms part of the National Development Plan 2000 – 2006 and is supported by the European Union under the Regional Operational Programmes for the Border, Midland and Western and Southern and Eastern Regions.
