More Funding approved for Schools
Mr Brendan Smith T.D. has announced that the Minister for Education and Science has approved more projects under the Summer Works Scheme 2005.
Mr Brendan Smith T.D. has announced that the Minister for Education and Science has approved more projects under the Summer Works Scheme 2005. He stated that the schools to benefit in County Cavan are St Felim’s, Ballinagh (ceiling improvements), St Felim’s, Cavan Town (ceiling repairs), Scoil Mhuire, Lacken (provision of a play area), Milltown National School, (provision of safe bus set-down/turning area) and Royal School, Cavan (access improvements).
Minister Smith welcomed these approvals and he stated that this scheme enables essential improvement works to be carried out during the summer months. He added that the largest ever schools building and refurbishment programme is underway in County Cavan this year.
