Official opening of new Carpark in Cootehill
Local Fianna Fáil T.D. and Minister for State Brendan Smith has performed the Official Opening of the new car park in Cootehill known as Cooney’s Row Carpark.
Local Fianna Fáil T.D. and Minister for State Brendan Smith has performed the Official Opening of the new car park in Cootehill known as Cooney’s Row Carpark.
The Minister in his address at the Official Opening stated that this new carpark is a welcome facility for Cootehill Town and it includes 79 parking spaces. He added that the overall cost of the Scheme amounted to € 420K and he complimented Cavan County Council, Cootehill Town Council and the Area Engineer’s Office in Cootehill for their work in designing and bringing to fruition such a fine facility.
Minister Smith stated that in recent years there has been a considerable investment in Cootehill Town in upgrading the infrastructure and this major investment will contribute to the growth of this town.
