Additional funding for St. Killian’s NS Mullagh


The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mr. Brendan Smith, T.D., has confirmed that additional funding has been allocated to St. Killian’s NS, Mullagh in respect of the extension project at the school.

The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mr. Brendan Smith, T.D., has confirmed that additional funding has been allocated to St. Killian’s NS, Mullagh in respect of the extension project at the school.

 

Following representations to his colleague, the Minister for Education and Science, Mr. Batt O’Keeffe, T.D., Minister Smith was informed that funding specifically allocated towards the upgrading of electricity supply at St. Killian’s has been approved.

 

Minister Smith said that the approval of additional funding was a great boost for the school and he complemented Principal Mr. Ronan McNamara, the teachers and the Board of Management for their commitment to St. Killian’s and the local Mullagh community.

 

Local Fianna Fail County Councillor, Mr. Shane P. O’Reilly also welcomed the announcement of additional funding which he said would allow significant further improvements at St. Killian’s NS.
