Funding approved under RAPID Local Authority Housing Estate Enchancement Scheme
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has welcomed the announcement from Ministers Eamon O’Cuiv, T.D., and Minister Noel Ahern, T.D., regarding details of co-funding for the RAPID Local Authority Housing Estate Enhancement Scheme
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has welcomed the announcement from Ministers Eamon O’Cuiv, T.D., and Minister Noel Ahern, T.D., regarding details of co-funding for the RAPID Local Authority Housing Estate Enhancement Scheme.
In welcoming this funding of € 100,000 which is being provided to each RAPID area Minister Smith stated that funding of € 45K is being provided from the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, € 45K from the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and a local contribution from Cavan Town Council of € 10K.
Minister Smith added that this Scheme includes improvement works such as landscaping, paving and improvement of open spaces.
