Additional funding under the Special Housing Aid Scheme for the Elderly
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has welcomed a further allocation of
€ 76,000 from Mr Noel Ahern, T.D., Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal under the Special Housing Aid for the Elderly Scheme. The total allocation to the North Eastern Health Board for this year is € 1,476,000.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has welcomed a further allocation of
€ 76,000 from Mr Noel Ahern, T.D., Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal under the Special Housing Aid for the Elderly Scheme. The total allocation to the North Eastern Health Board for this year is € 1,476,000.
This funding will assist in the carrying out of essential repairs to houses occupied by elderly persons living on their own.
