Grant Assistance for Cavan Equestrian Centre


Mr. Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has welcomed the announcement by his colleague Mr. John O’Donoghue, T.D., Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism that grant aid of 40% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of €1,144,944 has been approved for Cavan Equestrian Centre at Latt, Cavan.

Mr. Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has welcomed the announcement by his colleague Mr. John O’Donoghue, T.D., Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism that grant aid of 40% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of €1,144,944 has been approved for Cavan Equestrian Centre at Latt, Cavan.

 

Minister Smith has welcomed this approval and he complimented the Clarke Family on the development to date of the Equestrian Centre.  He added that the provision of additional facilities will be a welcome boost to the tourism industry in the Cavan area.

 

Minister Smith stated that some time ago he had the opportunity to visit the Cavan Equestrian Centre along with the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr. John O’Donoghue T.D. and he was extremely impressed by the range of activities that can be held in the Centre and also the potential to provide additional services and to grow the tourism industry in the Cavan area.
