Funding for Swanlinbar & Cootehill Housing Estates
Mr. Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture & Food has announced that funding of €38,000 has been approved by the Minister for Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr. Éamon Ó Cuív T.D. under the CLÁR Local Authority Housing Estate Enhancement Scheme.
Mr. Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture & Food has announced that funding of €38,000 has been approved by the Minister for Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr. Éamon Ó Cuív T.D. under the CLÁR Local Authority Housing Estate Enhancement Scheme.
Minister Smith stated that €19,000 is being provided towards kerb realignment, footpath provision and landscaping at Drumnaveil, Cootehill. The Minister added that €19,000 is also being provided towards kerb realignment, tree planting and development of open areas at Furnaceland, Swanlinbar.
Minister Smith added that the total cost of these projects is €80,000 and is funded by the CLÁR Programme and the County Council.
