8 Classrooms for Ballyjamesduff
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has announced that the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., has issued approval in respect of the provision of an 8 classroom school plus ancillary accommodation for St. Clare’s National School, Ballyjamesduff.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has announced that the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., has issued approval in respect of the provision of an 8 classroom school plus ancillary accommodation for St. Clare’s National School, Ballyjamesduff.
Minister Smith stated that the Minister’s decision will enable this project to proceed to construction over the next 12-15 months. He added that an 8 classroom school generally has additional ancillary accommodation including Library, General Purposes Room, Multi-Purpose Room, Special Tuition Room, Teacher/Staff Room and General Office Administration area.
Minister Smith stated that this decision by the Minister will mean a major investment in providing state of the art school accommodation for the primary school going population of the general Ballyjamesduff area and will cater for the increased enrolment in the school.
