Approval for Hospital Design Team
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., and Senator Diarmuid Wilson have announced that the Health Service Executive Capital Plan/Capital Investment Framework 2005 has conveyed approval to the Health Service Executive – North Eastern Area to proceed with the appointment of the Design Team for the commissioning of the shelled out ward and fourth theatre at Cavan General Hospital.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., and Senator Diarmuid Wilson have announced that the Health Service Executive Capital Plan/Capital Investment Framework 2005 has conveyed approval to the Health Service Executive – North Eastern Area to proceed with the appointment of the Design Team for the commissioning of the shelled out ward and fourth theatre at Cavan General Hospital.
The Health Service Executive in their correspondence to Minister Smith and Senator Wilson stated that the Design Team will work with the planning brief drawn up by an inter-disciplinary team within the Hospital which was submitted to the Department in late 2004.
Minister Smith added that the Design Team will be asked to bring the capital scheme forward to the stage of readiness to go to tender for the construction work.
