Further funding for Water & Sewerage Schemes


Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., has been informed by Mr Éamon Ó Cuiv, T.D., Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs that he has now allocated funding of E329,822.18 under the CLÁR Programme to Cavan County Council for a number of small public water and sewerage schemes.

Deputy Smith stated that the schemes to be assisted include:

 

  • Bawnboy Water Scheme

E    7,202.49

  • Dowra Water Scheme

E    8,858.26

  • Arvagh Sewerage Scheme

E  78,387.69

  • Swanlinbar Sewerage Scheme

E    5,847.23

  • Blacklion Sewerage Scheme

E   35,130.41

  • Ballyconnell Sewerage Scheme

E 181,337.22

  • Kilnaleck Sewerage Scheme

E   13,058.88

 

 

The Fianna Fáil T.D. concluded that the overall cost of these schemes is E 879,526 and he welcomed this funding which is a continuation of this Government’s major investment in water and sewerage schemes in Co. Cavan.
