More Funding for Village Enhancement
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon Ó’Cuiv that funding of E 180,000 will be available for Cavan/Monaghan under the Village and Countryside Enhancement Scheme for 2004
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon Ó’Cuiv that funding of E 180,000 will be available for Cavan/Monaghan under the Village and Countryside Enhancement Scheme for 2004.
The Minister in his correspondence to Deputy Smith stated that this Scheme is co-funded between the Leader Group, CLÁR and the local authorities. He added that the type of projects covered include environmental works, heritage works, car parks and children’s playgrounds.
