Kingspan Breffni Park Funding a great boost to Cavan GAA
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D. and Senator Diarmuid Wilson have welcomed today’s announcement by the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr John O’ Donoghue, T.D., that an allocation of € 150,000 is being made available to Cavan County Board for Kingspan Breffni Park under his Department’s 2004 Sports Capital Programme
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D. and Senator Diarmuid Wilson have welcomed today’s announcement by the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr John O’ Donoghue, T.D., that an allocation of € 150,000 is being made available to Cavan County Board for Kingspan Breffni Park under his Department’s 2004 Sports Capital Programme.
The Oireachtas Members want to congratulate all those who have worked tirelessly to make Breffni Park the wonderful stadium it has become. Achieving this grant is a great success for all involved.
These funds will help to provide Cavan County Board with the opportunity to develop and expand the range of valuable community facilities and services that Breffni Park provides.
“I am strongly aware of the benefits that money invested in sporting and community organisations can make”, concluded Deputy Smith.
