€1,450,000 towards Special Housing Aid Scheme for the Elderly.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., has been informed by the Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal, Mr Noel Ahern, T.D., that he has made an initial allocation of E1,450,000 to the North Eastern Health Board under the Special Housing Aid for the Elderly Scheme for the year 2004.

The Cavan/Monaghan Fianna Fáil T.D stated that this allocation will allow the Health Board to effectively plan and carry out works under a scheme which assists elderly persons to continue to live in their own homes and communities in as much comfort as possible
