New Fire Applicances for Cavan Fire Services
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., has welcomed the decision by the Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government, Mr Pat the Cope Gallagher, T.D., to approve Cavan County Council's proposal to purchase a new fire appliance for its fire service at a cost of € 260,000.

Deputy Smith stated that this investment is further evidence of this Government's commitment to the development of the fire and emergency services in Co. Cavan. The Fianna Fáil T.D. added that the Government has made a major financial investment over the past few years in upgrading the fire and emergency services throughout Co. Cavan.
