Funding approved for outdoor play facilities
Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon Ó Cuiv, T.D., and the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., that funding has been approved towards the provision of outdoor play facilities.
Brendan Smith T.D., Minister of State has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Éamon Ó Cuiv, T.D., and the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., that funding has been approved towards the provision of outdoor play facilities at the following schools:
Ballyconnell Mixed National School € 7,500
St. Mary’s Boy’s National School, Belturbet € 7,500
St. Patrick’s National School, Loch Gowna € 7,500
St. Mogue’s National School, Bawnboy € 1,463
Minister Smith stated that this Scheme is aimed at improving outdoor play facilities in small rural primary schools in CLÁR areas and he added that these improved facilities will benefit the school going population.
