Approval for Ballyjamesduff & Farnham School - Smith
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has welcomed the decision of the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., to issue approval in respect of the provision of a new school building at St. Clare’s National School, Ballyjamesduff and the provision of additional permanent accommodation at Farnham National School, Cavan Town.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State has welcomed the decision of the Minister for Education and Science, Ms Mary Hanafin, T.D., to issue approval in respect of the provision of a new school building at St. Clare’s National School, Ballyjamesduff and the provision of additional permanent accommodation at Farnham National School, Cavan Town.
Minister Smith stated that this decision by the Minister for Education will mean a major investment in both school projects and these schools will go to construction over the next 12 – 15 months.
The Minister added that more school projects will be approved by the Minister for Education over the next few months and this will ensure that the major school building programme of recent years in Co. Cavan will continue.
