Additional funding for Community Health Services
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Eamon O’Cuiv, T.D., that he has now approved CLÁR funding towards the provision of a number of community facilities that are also being funded by the North Eastern Health Board.
Mr Brendan Smith, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food has been informed by the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Mr Eamon O’Cuiv, T.D., that he has now approved CLÁR funding towards the provision of a number of community facilities that are also being funded by the North Eastern Health Board.
Deputy Smith stated that the provision of kitchen facilities for Mullahoran Day Service costing € 45,000 will be funded by € 30,000 from the Health Board and € 15,000 from Clár funding, the provision of kitchen and toilets for Shercock Daycare Services will be funded by the Health Board with € 50,000 and Clár funding of € 25,000. The provision of toilets and shower facilities at Templeport Day Service at a total cost of € 24,000 with Health Board funding of € 16,000 and Clár funding of € 8,000 and in Cavan an upgrade of the existing Health Centre building costing € 60,000 will be funded by the Health Board with € 40,000 and € 20,000 from Clár.
