As Minister for Children, I was centrally involved in the development of a structure to enhance the development of youth cafés and I am really delighted that this is now coming to fruition in Cavan Town. I was pleased to be in a position to support the project at the Bridge Street Resource Centre, which I know when fully developed, will be a haven of safety, education and enjoyable recreation for the youth of Cavan Town.

I am also delighted that finding has been approved for the renovation of the Cavan Community Project premises, which is doing such good work in protecting and supporting young people in the Town”, he said.
